#BurnItDown is an independent event to fight cancer through music! All the proceeds from our concert events benefit the Marcelle Erian Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to financially and emotionally aiding people going through cancer treatments.

#BurnItDown fights cancer through music!  By spotlighting the independent music and art of the greater Los Angeles area, #BurnItDown creates a community celebration of life, healing, and overcoming obstacles.

 

History

To celebrate the community for helping her as she became cancer-free, Alex Nester hosts an annual benefit concert to share her music with you.  All of the proceeds from the concert are donated to cancer research and patient care! It's a night of music, fun, giveaways and celebrating our successes in the fight against cancer!

 

In 2011, Alex Nester and friends ROCKED a full crowd at the Troubadour in Hollywood, CA! Releasing her second album and celebrating her 10th anniversary of being cancer-free, 100% of the show's proceeds were donated to The American Cancer Society and the Marcelle Erian Foundation...

#BURNITDOWN RAISED OVER $10,000 FOR A 1-NIGHT, GRASSROOTS SHOW!

Since that first event, we have been able to raise over $35k in the fight against cancer! We have hosted the event at Los Globos in Silverlake, The Dragonfly in Los Angeles, and our beloved Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks. Now, in 2023, we are bringing #BurnItDown to Rock & Roll Pizza in Simi Valley!
